Cuddle+Kind is a Toronto-based husband-and-wife studio working with a collective of women artisans in the Peruvian highlands, knitters passing down generational Andean technique, each doll handmade entirely from natural fibers, no two exactly alike.
Each doll takes about seven days of handwork to complete, hand-knit from heirloom Peruvian cotton with hand-embroidered eyes, nose, and detail. Baby size measures eight inches tall, soft from head to tail. Surface wash with cold water; lay flat to dry.
Every Cuddle+Kind doll provides ten meals to children in need through World Food Programme USA, the toy and the meal given together, the gift that does two things at once.
For the adoption welcome, the heirloom registry, or the newborn's first companion that gets passed down.
