ordering

How long does an order take to arrive?

Everything is composed to order, by hand, in our studio. Please allow five to seven business days before it leaves us, plus the transit time you choose at checkout. Standard is typically three to five business days, rush two to three.

Can I rush an order?

Rush transit is offered at checkout. For anything more time-sensitive, a shower this weekend or a hospital arrival on Tuesday, write to us with your order number and the date you need. We'll tell you what's possible.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders enter the studio within twenty-four hours. Write to us inside that window and we can cancel or change it. After that the Edit has been started and can't be altered.

Do you ship internationally?

Online checkout ships within the United States. International shipping is available on request. Write to us and we'll confirm rates and timing for your destination.

Can I send an Edit straight to the recipient?

Yes. Enter her address as the shipping address at checkout and yours as the billing address. There are no prices, no packing slip and no invoice in the box, and tracking comes to you so you know when it lands.

How does the card work?

There's a message box on every product page. Write what you want to say and it's written out by hand on a card and placed on top. Leave the box empty and the gift goes without a card.

Will it be wrapped?

Every order is wrapped in tissue, with your handwritten card on top if you've written a message. Nothing to opt into and nothing to pay for.

Can I hold it for a particular date?

Say so in the card message box, or write to us. We hold shipping dates whenever we can and we'll tell you upfront if a date doesn't work.

Can the recipient return it?

Edits are final sale, including gifts. Eligible single pieces can be returned within thirty days for store credit, issued to the recipient. Our returns policy has the detail.

What does shipping cost?

Complimentary from $125. Below that, standard shipping is $7 at checkout. Rush is $15. Orders of $500 and over ship expedited, complimentary.

When will my order ship?

Five to seven business days in the studio, then the transit window you chose. You'll have tracking by email the day it leaves us.

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO and FPO addresses?

We ship to most addresses in the continental United States, including APO and FPO. Some carriers won't deliver larger Edits to a PO box, so write to us if you're unsure about yours.

What if it arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive?

Tell us within seven days of delivery. Send your order number and a photograph if there is one. We replace, refund or credit as appropriate, and we cover the shipping.

What is your return policy?

Edits are final sale, because each one is composed by hand for the order you place. Eligible single pieces can be returned within thirty days for store credit, in original condition. Skincare, body care and personal care, bottles and feeding pieces, candles, HATCH apparel and intimates, oversized pieces, seasonal pieces, sale pieces and gift cards are all final sale. Our returns policy has the detail.

Why are Edits final sale?

Nothing is assembled in advance. We don't hold pre-packed Edits in inventory, so each one is put together for you when you order. We're glad to walk you through what's inside any Edit before you buy. Just write to us.

How do I start a return?

Write to us with your order number and the piece you'd like to return. We reply within two business days with instructions.

How long until I have the credit?

Within five business days of your return arriving and being checked. Credit comes by email and is valid for a year.

concierge and corporate

Do you do corporate gifting?

Yes. For corporate accounts, private registries, an Edit composed for a particular person, or bulk orders, see gifting accounts or write to us. We answer concierge notes within two business days.

Can you compose a custom Edit?

For private clients, yes. Write to us with the person in mind, the occasion and the budget you'd like to work within.

Do you offer registries?

Private registries are available on request. Send the recipient's name, the occasion and the date it needs to be ready.

Where are you based?

milk & honey babies is a New York house. We've been curating since 2014, and were once at The Shops at Hudson Yards. Every Edit is composed by hand in our studio.
