A lightweight oil that absorbs rather than sits, made from cold-pressed Amazonian seed oils — cacay, brazil nut, buriti, murumuru, cupuaçu. It smells faintly of resin and wood rather than of anything floral, which matters when a baby is against her all day.
Smoothed over damp skin after a shower, it takes about a minute. That is roughly the length of time she has.

THE MAKER
Costa Brazil was founded by Francisco Costa, who spent eleven years as creative director of Calvin Klein before returning to the country he was born in. The house works with growers at the edge of the Amazon and the restraint of the packaging is his.
