Peppermint is the one people reach for when something needs settling. It comes as whole loose leaf in a printed board canister with a leaf steeper, so it arrives ready to give and nothing else is needed. Caffeine-free, which matters when the day has no clear end to it.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Two and a half ounces of loose leaf peppermint
A metal leaf tea steeper
A printed board canister, eight inches tall, meant to be kept
THE MAKER
The Quiet Botanist began as a botanical apothecary in Hudson, New York, founded by Rebecca O'Donnell. She built it while recovering from chronic Lyme disease, out of a need for a slower life. The whole house is organised around that idea, which is why it belongs here.
HOW TO USE IT
Two teaspoons, steeped three minutes, hot. As with anything herbal, worth a word with her doctor or midwife if she is nursing.
