The first time, everyone came. The second time she knows exactly what she's doing, and nobody thinks to send anything. The Second Edition is three pieces for her: a cardigan long enough to wrap in, a salve for the hands that are always in water, and a candle for the end of the day.
Nothing for the baby. Nothing she has to learn. The good version of what she made do with the first time.
Why we built it
The second baby gets the hand-me-downs. She had the ordinary version of all of this the first time, and this is the one she'd have chosen.
